About the Platte County Mental Health Board
The Platte County Mental Health Board supports access to quality mental health and substance use services for Platte County residents through responsible public funding, community partnership, and accountability. Who We Are
The Platte County Mental Health Board is a public board established to help support community-based mental health and substance use services for Platte County residents. The board oversees local mental health funding and works to promote access, accountability, and effective use of public resources.
What We Do
We help fund mental health and substance use services for Platte County residents. We can support new or existing community-based programs, help strengthen local mental health clinics and service providers, and contract with qualified public or nonprofit organizations to provide services in accordance with Missouri law and Department of Mental Health standards.
Our goal is to improve access, strengthen local services, and support a responsive behavioral health system for Platte County.
